Michele is a former journalist, who has worked as an editor, feature writer and newspaper columnist. Her first book, "I'm Living Your Dream Life," is a memoir about how she and her husband, Mike, went from being California yuppies to Northwoods Resort Owners. Her second, "The Things I Wish I'd Said," is a collection of her previously published newspaper columns with updated commentary. A short story of Michele's about the death of her father, appears in the book, "True Tales of Transformation."
