Sandy Point Resort and Disc Golf Ranch has offered travelers lakeside cabins on Squaw Lake since 1935. Mike and Michele purchased the property in 1992 and their first season of operation was in 1993. Today, only one of the original cabins remains, “Karibu”, which has been dubbed an historical marker. It is a rustic summer cabin, which is close to the lake and right next to the babbling brook that is Cozzens Creek, a waterway that runs throughout the property and feeds into 785-acre Squaw Lake.
In addition, Sandy Point offers deluxe, 2 BR/1 bath cabins, “Hilltop;” “Stickeen;” and “Aerie;” ͟and three spectacular lake homes. “The Marq” and “The Big House” each have 3 BR/2baths, and our premier accommodation, “Lakeview Lodge,” has 4BR/3 baths plus two full kitchens, living rooms and dining areas. It offers guests more privacy and an unobstructed view of Squaw Lake.
Our season is May 1 – November 1. Off season rates apply May 1 until Memorial Day Weekend and then again after Labor Day weekend. Weekly rates are available. Visit our resort website for additional information about the accommodations and the current availability. We take reservations (particularly for the busy summer season) one year in advance, giving first option of refusal to our regular guests. Please don’t hesitate to phone the resort if you’d like to speak to Mike or Michele. We take care of all reservations personally to make sure all your questions are answered.
Sandy Point is also home to the The Wisconsin Disc Golf Hall of Fame. All visitors are welcome.
